Every day, another six thousand people in the UK take on an unpaid caring responsibility. In Buckinghamshire, carers make up ten percent of the population, around 45,000 people of all ages and in all localities and communities in the county. Of these 45,000 people around 15,000 will stop caring each year and another 15,000 will start a caring role.
Together with Aylesbury Vale CCG and Bucks County Council, we work closely with carers in a variety of ways; their health and wellbeing is as important as those for whom they care.
Carers Bucks is the local, independent charity offering support to unpaid carers in Buckinghamshire.
